New AquaMedia Experience

In January I had the opportunity of learning a new way of painting.  I took a class  from a professional aquamedia artist Robert Burridge when he was in Springfield, Oregon. (In the picture above you can see him behind me)

We learned to paint  Pears, Trees, Landscapes, Seascapes and Florals... here are a few of mine that I managed to figure out after working at home in my studio.  The class was called  putting the "Wow in Watercolor"  but come to find out he likes using Acrylics as well so the paintings I have to share are Acrylic only.
I love all the colors and how much fun it was to paint with a large paint brush, Viva paper towels and my beloved fingers!  I have not finger painted since I was a little girl and it turns out I loved the results of finger painting!

Please leave a comment for me and tell me what you think?

I am considering offering these as prints and also do some original paintings to sell.
They will come matted ready to frame.

They look great! I think my favorites are the sunset over the water and the two pairs on the right.

Thank you Polly! They are so different than what I have been painting, it was a fun experience.

The pears are great, but my absolute favorite from this batch is the purplish trees!
